Holiday Eggnog Bread
A treat for the holidays featuring Shamrock Farms Eggnog.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Shamrock Farms Eggnog
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons margarine or butter
- 3 cups bread flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 1/4 teaspoons active yeast
- 1/3 cup mixed candied fruits and peels
- 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
- Additional/spare Shamrock Farms Eggnog
Directions
Add all ingredients except for the powdered sugar into a 2-pound bread machine according to the manufacturer’s directions. Select the basic white bread cycle. In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar and additional Shamrock Farms Eggnog (1 to 2 tablespoons) to make a glaze. Drizzle the cooled loaf with glaze.
