Combine Sugar, butter, and shortening and blend until smooth. Add Shamrock Farms Buttermilk, vanilla and eggs and blend until all ingredients are combined. Add baking soda and flour and blend.
Drop by rounded spoonful onto greased cookie sheets. Sprinkle with raw sugar or sprinkles. Bake for 12 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
